Dads For Life

Objective
Promote active fatherhood in the family.

Rationale
With the increasing trend of dual career families and the lag in fathers’ involvement in family life other than bringing the ‘dough’ home, there is a need for more involvement of fathers in raising their children. Research has shown that the involvement of fathers in their children’s lives has not only increased overall health and cognitive development they experienced when fathers are present and involved, fathers’ involvement can also impact a children’s emotional and psychological well-being.

 Intent
·         Promote father-child bonding through sporting and outdoor activities

·         Create platforms for fathers to contribute to their children’s schooling experiences and be good            influences in the total development of their children.
